Mallory Lyons
Counselor, MC, LMHCA

I provide individual and group support, for those 18 years and older, for a wide range of issues. I have a special interest in grief counseling, including suicide bereavement. I believe supporting my clients through grief and loss is important in my work as a therapist, as grief and loss is a universal human concern. I also support those struggling with: anxiety, depression, relationship issues, dealing with a major life event/life transition, attachment issues, self-esteem, and stress.
I work from mainly a Cognitive Behavioral Perspective (CBT) and strengths-based approach (SFT). I am currently becoming certified in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help individuals deal with traumatic and distressful memories. I believe that therapy is a journey in which I am honored to take part with my clients.
It is my hope that through the therapeutic journey clients can access their inner strengths and develop new strategies to face concerns in their daily lives. I am an LGBTQ ally and have practiced therapy in Canada, Singapore, and the United States.
