"Anything that's human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary". - Fred Rogers. "We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty". -Maya Angelou. I believe in the human connection and my goal is to provide a therapeutic relationship with each client.
The truth is that when we talk about our feelings and open up about our fears, we begin to discover the beauty of change. There are times when we may need a little help from modern science, including medication to manage intense & overwhelming feelings, I hope to bring you peace and hope toward the future while we navigate the best options for you, together.
I want to meet you where you are & provide guidance on self-discovery. My goal is to be supportive & encouraging to each client as we walk together along the path of understanding, healing & peace. Each person has a unique story with struggles & obstacles that can feel unbearable, but jointly we can discover your inner resilience & joy will be within reach.
I graduated as a PA from the University of Washington School of Medicine in 2000. My training and experience in psychiatry exceeds 20 years.
