WHAT DO OTHER PATIENTS HAVE TO SAY?

More information about SPRAVATO may be found at:www.spravato.com

WHAT IS ESKETAMINE?

Esketamine is for adults experiencing treatment resistant depression. Esketamine treatment may be warranted for adults that have struggled with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and who have not responded adequately to at least two different antidepressants of adequate dose and duration previously. The treatment is painless, and patient self-administered.

IS ESKETAMINE EFFECTIVE?

Esketamine has proven effective for treating adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and/or with suicidal thoughts or actions. As well as people with a history of Adverse Childhood Experiences.

The treatment is administered via nasal spray, and is an outpatient treatment that takes about two hours. During the initial 15 minutes treatment is administered, and you stay at our clinic for observation the remainder of the time. The treatment requires physician/staff supervision. Although infrequent, the major side effects of treatment are possible high blood pressure, nausea, and sedation/disassociation.

IS ESKETAMINE COVERED BY INSURANCE?

Many insurance carriers cover Spravato if you have previously failed antidepressants. Contact us to learn if your insurance plan covers Esketamine. Once you and your provider have determined that Spravato is right for you, our team will assist with the insurance process.
