WHAT IS ESKETAMINE?

Esketamine is for adults experiencing treatment resistant depression. IS ESKETAMINE EFFECTIVE?

Esketamine has proven effective for treating adults with Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) and/or with suicidal thoughts or actions. As well as people with a history of Adverse Childhood Experiences.

Esketamine is self-administered via nasal spray under physician/staff supervision, and requires you to be on site in one of our private rooms for 2 hours. During the initial 15 minutes treatment is administered, you will then stay at our clinic for observation, and vitals checks during the remainder of the time. Although infrequent, the major side effects of treatment can include temporarily elevated blood pressure, nausea, and sedation/disassociation.
